Have you heard of Apple One?  It surprises us how many people haven’t.  It’s maybe the best kept secret in the subscription world.  It was launched in 2020 with Tim Cook describing it as the “easiest way for customers to enjoy Apple services”.

So what exactly is Apple One?  It’s a bundle of Apple subscriptions at a combined price.  It includes Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Icloud storage, and if you’re a premier member, Apple News & Fitness.  The best part of the whole thing is you can share it with friends, family members, coworkers, etc.. You don’t need to live in the same household and it’s not priced per user.  The price you see in the image above is the TOTAL cost.  I.e. If you sign up for Premier with five friends, you’ll only pay $6.33 / user for all those awesome services!

Kudos to Apple for providing an amazing offering at an affordable rate.  We’re personally surprised anyone would pay $10.99 / month for services like Spotify when for half the price they can get Apple Music + more just by sharing with family or friends.  Apple One is a gamechanger and we expect these other services to realize they can’t survive without similar bundling and friendplan-like offerings.
